- Ray Turner Review added: 2018.11.06★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Quite a nice place to spend some time. The park has water on two sides, so there are lots of ducks. There's a playground for the kids, tennis courts, a bowling green, flower beds, a small cafe, a bandstand and public toilets too. The Town's war memorial can be found here, along with a vintage Japanese field gun, presented to the Town by Lord Mountbatten of Burma no less.

- Sam Holland Review added: 2018.02.01★ ★ ★ ★ ☆A nice well kept park with a great little play park at the back for the little ones. The river is lovely and almost always has ducks/swans close by to watch. There is a small cafe available on site - unsure on opening times.
